  Two lists for the apointed?

  the parttakers at the memorial service has always been counted and the number is put in the annual report.

  someone told me however that these days the parttakers is counted and divided in to an a-list and a b-list.

  the ones who makes it to the a-list is the serious, mature and believable persons and these people makes the number of breade eaters and wine drinkers in the annual report.

  I saw two anointed, both older and they actually were kind of looked down on, which was always strange to me. Shouldn't these be the ones we are proud and happy about? They were both kind of Rouge JW's whom the elders didn't like though.

  watchtower study article "responding to your conscience" (october 15, 2007, pages 25-29, studied december 3-9, 2007) .

  dealing with, inter alia, oral sex, contained what i thought was an interesting new way of describing how jw's can form their own personal, and different, conclusions and that no one needs to be 'disturbed' by this.

  i have never seen the watchtower describe it quite this way, even in relation to conscience matters like whether to attend a church wedding.

  Is the "My Book of Bible Stories" appropriate reading for Little Ones?

  my little boy, aged 4 1/2 loves his bedtime stories, and also loves "jesus stories" as he calls them... .

  now, i have never gotten around to going to a book store and actually buying a childrens bible story book from the shops (yes...i still have a bit of a mental block and some deep seated issues about any religious literature).

  my mom gave my kids a copy of the bible story book, as well as listening to the great teacher (the new soft cover book - think it is called that?

  Oh come on people the My Book of Bible Stories isn't that bad. I liked them growing up but I was a boy so that sort of stuff was cool. I don't think a 4-11 year old should be taught anything that is religious but that's just my personal opinion.

  origins matter...foundations don't...jesus said they did.............

  we all know dubs can't do any holidays because they are pagan or such.

  even though nobody doing the holiday knows crap about the origin and is not doing it for that historical reason.. so why do dubs say our old teachings of the 1880-1950's don't matter?

  because the light has gotton brighter and those old brothers went through a cleansing of thier teachings.

  One easy answer Oompa...no doubt a dub would say something to the effect, "sometimes you have to learn from your mistakes, then build the house correctly". Though this is flawed logic it no doubt would be the excuse, they built, it got destroyed and with the "new light" they are now built on a solid foundation! Or they will use the, "it was built right, but the builder was not adept enough at foundations" something like that.
